“With Liberty and Care For all”

Liberty, or freedom, is a foundational belief in the United States, celebrated in the Pledge of Allegiance and famously highlighted by Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms. But whose freedom are we referring to? How might the concept of freedom evolve if it were redefined to include care as an essential element?
